Yesterday, Lili.ai was presenting at an event organized by the French Ministry for Enterprises (DGE) and French National Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI). Lili.ai’s CEO, Milie TAING, shared her journey with the EIC Accelerator.
The EIC Accelerator, led by the European Innovation Council (EIC), is the most competitive European funding program dedicated to deeptech startups. It provides up to €2.5 million in grants, along with access to millions of euros in co-investment, supporting ambitious companies developing breakthrough technologies.
Beyond presenting our experience with the program, this event was also an opportunity to reflect on a topic that matters deeply to us: building AI grounded in Europe’s unique assets. Europe’s centuries of industrial leadership have created exceptional conditions in key sectors, combining global industrial champions, exclusive datasets, and talent trained to operate in complex, real-world environments. By focusing on these strengths, Europe has the ability to develop AI that is both highly effective and globally relevant.
At Lili.ai, that domain is construction. While Europe may not lead in every field, it holds a genuine competitive edge in certain strategic sectors. Construction is one of them; and it is where we choose to focus our efforts to build impactful, industrial-grade AI.
We are proud to be part of this European wave of deeptech innovation, contributing to AI solutions rooted in industrial reality.
